While we don’t book your airfare, or additional hotels in locations other than the start & end of your trip, we do have plenty of experience, tips and resources to pass along to you! We want your travel to be safe and smooth, and we will do everything we can to assist, and make sure you have all the information you need.

Air travel:

Need a domestic flight within Europe? Try www.skyscanner.com
Skyscanner compares millions of flights to find you the cheapest deal, fast. We use it mostly for Europe, but it works internationally as well!

Booking sites like www.kayak.com & www.orbitz.com are a great resource when searching for international flights. You will see all the possible options, and prices. When you book your tickets, you can always go directly to the airline’s website, if you feel more comfortable booking directly with the airline, rather than a 3rd party site.

Multi City Tickets:

Does your trip begin in one city, and end in another? When you are searching for flights, look at multi-city tickets. For instance, you can fly from Los Angeles to Izmir, Turkey, and then book a return flight from Istanbul back to Los Angeles.

Train Travel:

You do not need to purchase train tickets in advance. They are easy to purchase right at the station using cash or a credit card.

*Remember, train schedules are only available about 3 months in advance. If the date of your travel not available yet, just check a closer date, keeping the day of the week the same. The schedules generally do not change. That said, it’s always a good idea to double check the schedule as your trip grows closer.

Hotels:

We don’t have much experience with hotels in major cities. Almost all of our tours take place away from big cities, so our expertise is limited to the small character filled inns & B&B’s where you will stay during your tour.

We recommend using web resources like www.hotels.com & www.booking.com to find great hotels for the beginning and end of your trip. Another great resource is www.tripadvisor.com, where you can see other traveler’s feedback about the hotels.

Book the right hotel for your itinerary. If you are flying into Barcelona late and night, and plan to leave in the morning, look for a hotel close to the airport, which offers and complimentary shuttle service. If you have planned for 3 extra days in Barcelona, look for a hotel centrally located in the historic district for convenient sight seeing!

Keep checking back, we will continue adding more advice to this page.
